Production Intern

Available to RMIT, Melbourne University, Swinburne University and Monash University students.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Production Intern to join our team for IRL filming projects. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn about the production process, has a passion for pre-production and videography and is quick on their feet. As a Production Intern, you’ll work closely with our IRL Content Producer to learn about all aspects of production, from setting up equipment to ensuring everything runs smoothly on set.

Your Mission is to

  • Assist in setting up and managing on-set equipment, including lights, cameras and equipment.
  • Help organise and maintain equipment to make sure everything is in working order and ready for use.
  • Support the team with on-set logistics, keeping the production running smoothly and on time.
  • Help coordinate talent and crew and make sure everyone is briefed and ready for filming.
  • Help with basic videography tasks and provide general support to the production team.
  • Provide general support to the production team, including operating cameras or handling other technical equipment.
  • Help monitor and maintain the production budget to make sure productions costs are within budget.

About You

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Production, Film and TV, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly.
  • Passion for esports, gaming, pop culture and influencer culture.

INternship Details

  • 2-3 months
  • 10-20 hours a week
  • Interns are required to undertake the internship in the PWR's office in Melbourne
